List of Mahathir Science Award (MSA) Laureates

The Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM) Award for Scientific Excellence in Honour of Tun Dr Mahathir Award was established in conjunction with the Academy’s 10th Anniversary Celebration on 17 August 2004. In 2005, the the award was renamed to Mahathir Science Award. The Mahathir Science Award is bestowed on any scientists, institutions or organisation worldwide in recognition of contributions and innovations towards solving problems in the tropics through science and technology and to be awarded to the most deserving based on merit. To date, there are 10 Mahathir Science Award (MSA) Laureates (2005 - 2016).
