New Liquidity Framework
Liquid Asset Requirement (LAR). The commercial banks, Islamic banks and investment/merchant banks are required to maintain a sum equivalent to the Liquid Asset Requirement ratio (which is a specified percentage of their eligible liabilities) in the form of designated liquid assets.
Liquid Assets are designated assets which a banking institution may hold in order to meet the Liquid Asset Requirement.
Compliance Requirements as Per Agreed defined as the compliance requirement as a percentage of deposits is shown in brackets in the table.
