(1) Payphones refer to the total number of all types of public telephones including coin, card-operated ones and combos. No distinction is made between operational and not operational payphones. (2) Include Mobile broadband, Pay per use, WiMax and EDVO. (3) Include ADSL, SDSL, VDSL, Fiber, satellite and fixed wireless. Beginning 2011, broadband subscriptions were recategorised into Fixed (wire) and Wireless. WiMax fall under Wireless. (4) Reclassified 1 Malaysia Netbook as a group of its own.
